Michel Ann’s interest in the visual arts began in her high school darkroom and photography has been a defining part of her identity ever since. Graduating from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, her coursework focused on image production and copywriting, while her free time was spent producing fashion shoots for her personal portfolio and working as a staff photographer for The Daily Free Press.

Working for over a decade in New York City in various creative positions, fashion model, public relations press photographer, hospitality marketing & assistant on commercial photo/film productions, Michel Ann’s move into the architecture industry began when she decided to move back to the country and was hired as an Interior Design assistant at a top-tier architecture firm in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

A collector of experience, Michel Ann is fortunate to have visited over 25 countries and 40 states, many of them on her own but always with a camera in hand. When she isn’t working or raising her 3-year-old daughter, she can be found cycling, hiking and enjoying live music.
