Hillary Parker, Designer

Indiana native Hillary Parker has traveled far and wide in her pursuit of design knowledge. She honed her passion for urban design during a semester spent visiting 29 countries to better understand what design means across the globe. She further developed this interest through her student design work for Envision Fort Wayne, where she interacted with city officials and community members to promote the development of downtown and riverfront neighborhoods.

While working on her Masters of Architecture at University of Oregon, she assisted Nico Larco in the production of his book on sustainable urban design by researching and writing about ecological corridors and pedestrian realm design.

She received her Masters of Architecture from the University of Oregon, and a BS in Architecture from Ball State University. She has also worked as a dance instructor, but sticks to observing these days.
